Welcome to Abundey
A private AI that runs in your browser, and a zero-knowledge vault for your family's wealth.
Abundey is two things that share one idea: your data should be useful to you without being visible to us.
The first is a private AI assistant. It runs entirely inside your browser — the model is downloaded to your device once, and every message after that is processed locally. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go. This is the primary product, and it lives at /ab.
The second is an encrypted vault for family wealth — net worth across accounts and currencies, and projections you can drag a timeline through. It is sealed with a key that is generated on your device and never leaves it. Our servers hold ciphertext. Wealth is in closed beta as of August 2026; you can register interest from inside the app.
Why it works this way
Every cloud assistant makes you pick one: useful, or private. To be useful about your money it has to see your money. To be private it has to know nothing about you.
Running the model on your own device removes the choice. The assistant can talk about your actual holdings precisely because there is no server to leak them to.
That comes with real trade-offs, and we would rather state them than bury them:
- The first run downloads a model — between 1.6 GB and 6.3 GB depending on the tier you pick. It is cached afterwards, so you pay that once per browser.
- It needs WebGPU, which means a recent desktop browser.
- Small models are smaller. They are quick and capable, but they are not a frontier cloud model, and they are weakest exactly where money lives — arithmetic.
Where to go next
- Models — the three tiers, what actually powers each, how one gets chosen for your device, and what your browser needs.
- Privacy & zero-knowledge — what the encryption does, what our servers can and cannot see, and where the guarantee stops.
