Terms of Service

• You are responsible for keeping your account and credentials secure. Because your data is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover your account or data if you lose your credentials.
• You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Abundey.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Abundey may offer free and paid plans. Where paid plans apply, you agree to pay the fees for the plan you choose. Specific pricing, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented at the point of purchase. [Pricing and refund terms — to be finalized before paid plans launch.]

• You can cancel and delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• When you delete your account, we delete your encrypted data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used unlawfully, or that pose a security risk. Where reasonable, we will give you notice.

We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may change prices for paid plans. If we make a material change to prices, we will give you advance notice. We may also, on rare occasions, discontinue the service; if we do, we will give you reasonable notice and the ability to export your data.

We work hard to keep Abundey available, secure, and private, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information and why we cannot read your encrypted financial data.

You own the data and content you put into Abundey. We claim no ownership over it. Because the financial data you save is end-to-end encrypted with a key only you hold, we could not access or claim your content even if we wanted to. You grant us only the limited permission necessary to store and sync your encrypted data so the service can function.

You agree not to use Abundey to:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
• Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.
• Resell or misrepresent the service as your own.

Abundey is a tool to help you understand and project your own finances. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. We are constantly improving the product, and while we test our work, you understand that the service is provided “as is” and may contain bugs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abundey is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abundey and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law / jurisdiction — to be finalized], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
